Eagle Medicine Dancers

The Eagle Medicine Dancers is a professional Indigenous dance company led by Roberta Shalifoe (Migiziikwe), an Anishinaabe dancer and cultural educator. Since 2018, the company has performed traditional pow wow dance styles including shawl, jingle, and eagle feather dances at festivals, museums, and community events across Michigan, pairing each performance with teachings on the origins and meaning of each tradition.
