Bill Heid is a Pittsburgh-born jazz pianist and organist who has worked with blues legends including Muddy Waters, John Lee Hooker, Koko Taylor, Son Seals, and Fenton Robinson. He performed with jazz musicians Jimmy Witherspoon, Sonny Stitt, Grant Green, and David "Fathead" Newman, and recorded two albums with contemporary jazz guitarist Henry Johnson. Heid toured internationally as a jazz ambassador for the U.S. State Department, with performances in Japan, Vietnam, Sri Lanka, Indonesia, Malaysia, and Singapore.
