Brandon Z Smith

Brandon Z. Smith is a Michigan-based singer-songwriter who blends introspective lyrics with soulful Americana, following in the tradition of Leonard Cohen, Tim Buckley, and Harry Nilsson. His music has been featured in the documentary Life In Flint, and he has performed at venues including the historic FIM Capitol Theatre, Corktown Music Festival, and Alley Fest. Smith also serves as a songwriting instructor at the Flint School of Performing Arts.
