Juan Riveros

Juan Riveros is an American harpist who bridges classical and Latin American musical traditions. He serves as Instructor of Harp at Michigan State University and Principal Harpist of the Detroit Opera Orchestra. Riveros has performed as guest principal harp with major orchestras including the Cleveland Orchestra and Atlanta Symphony Orchestra, and appeared at the Rio Harp Festival and São Paulo Harp Festival. His awards include the 2022 Lyon & Healy Awards and Outstanding Instrumentalist at the Sphinx SOPA Competitions in 2022 and 2023.
