Peter Madcat Ruth

Peter "Madcat" Ruth is a Grammy Award-winning harmonica virtuoso who has established an international reputation across blues, jazz, folk, and country music. He studied with legendary Chicago blues harmonica player Big Walter Horton in the late 1960s and toured extensively with jazz pianist Dave Brubeck through the 1970s as part of Two Generations of Brubeck. In 2006, Ruth won the Grammy Award for Best Classical Recording for his appearance on William Bolcom's Songs of Innocence and of Experience.
