Premium Rat

Premium Rat is the project of Mer Rey, a nonbinary indie rock artist from Ypsilanti who blends pop punk, indie folk, dance-pop, and Broadway elements with cinematic instrumentation. Their debut album "Stranded on Land" explores themes of community, connection, and trans identity through a narrative arc that moves from isolation to collective empowerment.
