A Detroit jazz guitarist and singer who formed the Red Hot Peppers in 1982, specializing in authentic 1920s and 1930s swing in the tradition of Django Reinhardt. He toured extensively with multi-instrumentalist Howard Armstrong for over a decade, earning a W.C. Handy Award nomination in 1997, and has performed at the Detroit Institute of Arts, Interlochen, and the Philadelphia Folk Festival.
