Reuben Stump

Reuben Stump is a jazz bassist and vocalist from Lansing, Michigan who studied under Robert Hurst at the University of Michigan and Rodney Whitaker at Michigan State University. He has performed at major festivals including the Detroit Jazz Festival and East Lansing Summer Solstice Jazz Festival, and has shared the stage with artists such as Walter Blanding Jr., Randy Napoleon, and Michael Dease. His debut EP "Stump Jump!" was released in 2022, followed by "Love's Call" in 2025.
