The Rotations

The Rotations are a Lansing funk, blues, and jazz band. Drummer and vocalist Floyd Stokes Jr. has toured nationally and internationally as a member of Rare Earth and has shared the stage with James Brown. Bassist Hank Horton holds a master's in string bass performance from Michigan State and has performed with Styx, Dennis DeYoung, and the New York Pops Orchestra. Saxophonist, vocalist, and harmonica player Mocha toured with the Air Force's Tops in Blue entertainment group and also performs with Lansing's 496 West Jazz Band. The band has played Lansing's Concerts in the Park series, the Colonial Bar, and JazzJamm events.
