Twyla Birdsong

Twyla Birdsong is a Lansing-based blues and gospel singer who competed in the Memphis International Blues Challenge as lead vocalist for The Hoopties in 2011. She won the Capital Area Blues Society's Blues Brawl in 2016 and collaborates in a 'Women of the Blues' Review with BMA winner Sharrie Williams and Detroit's Thornetta Davis.
