Honky Tonk

Thomas Wayne Hancock III, known as Wayne "The Train" Hancock, is dubbed "The King of Juke Joint Swing" for his distinctive blend of western swing, honky tonk, country, and rockabilly. Born in Rockne, Texas, and influenced by Hank Williams and Ernest Tubb, Hancock has released multiple albums including his acclaimed debut "Thunderstorms and Neon Signs" (1995) and has recorded with Bloodshot Records. Hank Williams III has praised him as having "more Hank Sr. in him" than the Williams lineage itself, and he's collaborated with notable Texas musicians including producer Lloyd Maines.
