Radian is an Akron, Ohio-based sludge/doom metal quartet formed in 2017 by guitarist Mike Burns, featuring members with ties to Fistula, Rue, and Sofa King Killer. Their independent debut Chapters (2019) was praised by The Obelisk for delivering "that extra bit of aggression one finds underlying the most satisfying of sludge metals." The band released their sophomore album Discordian through Burns' own El Burno Records in 2021, followed by their third LP Subterfuge in 2026 via El Burno Records and Third House Communications.
