Chicago's Devon Kay & The Solutions make energetic, melodic music that merges pop-punk enthusiasm with horns, synth countermelodies, and tight vocal harmonies. The band has released albums on Pure Noise Records and Bad Time Records, including 2022's Grieving Expectation.
From Lansing
Nunya is a Lansing pop punk band featuring Jolene Chérie Sayers on guitar and vocals, Cody Kuuttila on drums, Lin Norton on bass and vocals, and Matt Waterman on lead guitar. Their self-titled debut was recorded at Cold War Studios and mixed by Joe Reinhart, known for his work with Hop Along and Modern Baseball. They played GTG Fest 17 at the Avenue in 2024.

Pancho Villa's Skull is a mariachi punk duo from Pontiac comprising brothers Tino and Rolando Ybarra. The band blends traditional mariachi music with punk rock, creating a stripped-down acoustic sound that addresses issues of racism, workers' rights, and immigrant experiences through both English and Spanish lyrics.
