Slow Joy is the solo project of Dallas-based Chicano artist Esteban Flores, creating loud, fuzzy alternative rock that blends grunge, emo, and shoegaze influences from bands like Smashing Pumpkins and The Pixies. His debut album "A Joy So Slow At Times I Don't Think It's Coming" was released in May 2025 via Mick Music and produced by Mike Sapone, following viral TikTok success with singles "Crawling" and "Soft Slam" in 2022.
From South Jersey, New Jersey
Bike Routes is the project of South Jersey singer-songwriter David Lawrence Osterhout, who blends indie rock, emo, and pop-punk with acoustic guitar foundations. His 2024 EP Rush of Energy, produced by Zach Tuch (Touché Amoré, Silverstein, Movements) and released via Blue Grape Music, marked a shift toward a louder, more aggressive sound while maintaining his intimate songwriting approach.
From Brooklyn, NY
Glom is the indie-rock project of Brooklyn-based musician Sean Dunnevant, blending shoegaze textures with '90s alternative rock and post-punk rhythms. His third album Below was released in 2026 via Nettwerk Music Group, marking his first release as a solo endeavor after two previous albums with collaborator Sahil Ansari.
