From Detroit

THE DOGS/DETROIT formed in Lansing in 1968 and relocated to Detroit in 1973, playing alongside MC5 and The Stooges in the city's proto-punk scene. The band toured internationally, playing SXSW in 2009 and 2014, and released albums on Dionysus Records including "Suburban Nightmare" (2003) and "Hypersensitive" (2012).


From Detroit

The Strains are a Detroit punk rock band formed from members of touring veterans Dumbell and The Damagers. Led by Paul Grace Smith, the band combines motor city garage with street punk, earning recognition through slots at the Hamtramck Labor Day Festival and Hamtramck Blowout. The band released a live album in 2022 capturing their raw sound developed through decades of touring across Europe and the United States.


From Lansing

The Drastics are a Lansing punk rock and new wave band performing high-energy covers from the '70s and '80s alongside original material since 1978.
