Emma's Revolution is the Oakland-based activist folk duo of Pat Humphries and Sandy Opatow, whose songs have been featured on NPR's All Things Considered and Pacifica's Democracy Now! Named after activist Emma Goldman, the pair was mentored by Pete Seeger and has won the John Lennon Songwriting Grand Prize. Their songs have been praised by Pete Seeger, covered by Holly Near, and sung around the world at protests for peace, women's rights, labor rights, and environmental protection.
